Burton, Richard

Richard Burton was a British explorer, geographer, translator, writer, spy, soldier, orientalist, cartographer, ethnographer, ethnologist, linguist, poet, fencer, Freemason, and diplomat. Amongst other things. A man who made 'Boy's Own' look faintly pedestrian.
