In the publisher's decorative cloth binding.

All volumes are undated. Dated via copies held institutionally.

'Wise and Otherwise' by Pansy, the pseudonym of Isabella Macdonald Alden (1888) - Seventh thousand. With a frontispiece, four plates and vignettes. Sixteen pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. Sixteen pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. 

'Will It Lift?: The Story of a London Fog' by J. Jackson Wray (1888) - With a frontispiece. Twenty pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. 

'Muriel Malone; or, from Door to Door' by Charlotte Murray (1900) - With six plates by Florence Reason. Twenty-four pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. 

'Grenfell of Labrador' by James Johnston (1908) - With a portrait frontispiece, map and fifteen plates. Thirty-two pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. 

Collated, complete. 

Condition

In the original decorative cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with mild rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages to 'Grenfell' are age toned, but generally clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and a contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper. With scattered spots largely concentrated to first and last few pages of the other volumes.
