Bound in the publisher's wraps. With a cloth spine to 'Nihongi'. Externally, with age toning, handling marks and occasional damp stains to the wraps. With general wear to the spines and edges. With heaviest instances to the spines of Volume IV Part II, Volume V, Part IV and Volume IX Part I. A couple closed tears to the wraps of Volume II and Volume IV, Part IV. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot to the endpapers.
