What Our Customers Say...

The first edition, first impression of this work (London : Chatto & Windus, 1966).

The tenth novel by the prolific Irish-British novelist and philosopher Iris Murdoch. Murdoch is widely regarded to be one of the most important British authors of the twentieth century. Her novels are varied, however tend to reflect her interest in moral philosophy. The Time of the Angels is no exception; following the life of a disillusioned and eccentric Anglican priest, the work considers whether or not moral goodness can exist in a post-theistic world.
