The fascinating story of Bonnard, told through diary entries, was adapted into the 1929 French silent film of the same name.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with original unclipped dust wrapper and slipcase. Externally, very smart with only minor shelf wear to the extremities. With original unclipped dust wrapper in fine condition. Original slipcase in good condition with visible shelf wear and separation of the top board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Fore edge roughly cut.
