A collection of thirteen original photographs in black and white tipped in on to thick paper, illustrative of Sussex's industrial progress from the late 1800s to mid-twentieth century. Dated from contents.
An original photobook from the Sussex Industrial Archaeology Society, bound in full cloth with society's name in gilt to front board, featuring an introductory plate to the first lead of text with imprint 'Sussex Industrial Archaeology Society' with notes on the aims and description of the society.
Each photograph is captioned with descriptions also tipped in. Text printed with typewriter.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only, minor rubbing. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to first few leaves, otherwise pages bright and clean. Illustrated with thirteen black and white tipped in original photographs.
