This is a curated selection of Beedome's original 1641 posthumous collection of poetry with a foreword from Francis Meynell. This is a lovely selection, focusing on the sacred and secular themes of faith, mortality, and the human condition.
There are multiple uncut pages in this edition, including the title page, and so there is no picture of this included.
Condition
Externally, smart. Slight handling marks to pale paper wrap and minor damp staining to spine. Pencil inscription from previous owner to front endpapers. Slipcase, smart. Slightly age toned, with the odd handling mark. Ink handling mark to spine. Slight bumping to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
