Rudyard Kipling was an English short-story writer, poet and novelist, best known for his works of fiction, including 'The Jungle Book' and 'The Man Who Would be King'.

He is considered a significant literary figure for his works' vivid portrayals of British India, and its explorations of themes of imperialism and clash of cultures.

This set demonstrates wonderful examples of Kipling's poetry, including 'The Barrack-Room Ballads', which contains some of his best-known works, including 'Gunga Din', 'Tommy', 'Mandalay' and 'Danny Deever'.

The entirety of this set comprises the following volumes:

'Barrack-Room Ballads and Other Verses' (1916)
