Christie's thrilling mystery follows the narrator Mark Easterbrook as he investigates a list of names and the death of a Catholic Priest. With a small appearance from Christie's novelist detective Ariadne Oliver.

This novel is notable among Christie's books as it is credited with having saved at least two lives, after readers recognised the symptoms of thallium poisoning from the description in the book.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's cloth with the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely. One or two light spots to the fore edge. Dust wrapper is also excellent, with light edge wear, a little sunning to the spine, and the odd mark. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages.
