Rebound with front board and back strip preserved. 

Illustrated with a frontispiece, four colour folding maps, twenty-two plates, and in-text vignette illustrations. Collated, complete.

An interesting travel work by by Archibald Colquhoun, following the Trans-Siberian Railway only a few years after it opened, with vivid descriptions of the countries through which it passes.

Condition

Rebound with front board and back strip preserved. Endpapers renewed. Externally smart, with bumping the extremities. The odd mark to the board. Internally generally firmly bound. slightly strained in places. The odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages and the occasional leaf. Damp staining, causing tidemarks and mottling to leaves. The occasional gathering unopened. The occasional closed tear to folding maps.
