    Second edition of Osborne's Guide to The Grand Junction, or Birmingham, Liverpool, and Manchester Railway.

    Bound in the publisher's original cloth.

    With the topography of the country through with the line passes, and complete guides to the towns of Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester.

    Densely illustrated throughout with numerous engravings, tables and maps.

    Includes a folding plan of Liverpool docks and a large folding advertising plate to the rear for silver and plated wares. Lacking the folding map of the Grand Junction Railway and the chart of passenger fares.

    Also includes various in-text illustrations and fourteen advertising plates to the rear.

    Condition

    Rebacked in the publisher's original cloth. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the extremities and light soiling to the cloth. Slight bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd mark. Light edge wear and the occasional tear to the folding plates. Lacking two folding plates.
