    Comprising seven volumes. Lacking Volume III, 'Silas Marner'. 

    Uniformly bound in half morocco, with marbled paper covered boards and endpapers.

    This set offers a pleasing selection of titles from prominent Victorian writer George Eliot (real name Mary Ann Evans), who is acclaimed for her realism and detailed depictions of the English countryside.

    Condition

    Uniformly bound in half morocco, with marbled paper covered boards and endpapers. Externally, smart. With rubbing to the extremities and slight fading to the spines. Front hinge to 'Romola' is tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with scattered spots to the endpapers.
