Romer Wilson, born Florence Roma Muir Wilson, wrote about 13 novels during the inter-war period. Her novels contained a philosophical trend and she is well regarded for her modernist style and exploration of themes of love, race, societal decadence and hedonism in 1920s London. She was the daughter of British solicitor and politician Arnold Muir Wilson.

Condition

In original quarter cloth binding and striped boards. Externally, smart with minor shelf wear and bumping to extremities. Offsetting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with the odd spot closer to rough cut fore edge.
