This volume is a facsimile edition of the first print from 1467 incunabulum, notable as the first illustrated book printed in Italy, and is based on the copy in the Nuremburg City Library.

Juan de Torquemada (Ecclesiastical Latin: Johannes de Turrecremata, various spellings) O.P. (1388 – 26 September 1468) was a Spanish ecclesiastic, defender of Jewish conversos, and has been described as the most articulate papal apologist of the fifteenth century.

Condition

In the publisher's original leatherette binding. Externally, in excellent condition, with one or two handling marks. Library bookplates to front and rear paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
