The first edition, first impression indicated by no later print dates (1976), with a dedication following the title page to Harlan Ellison.
Authorised Murder is one of Asimov's crime novels, and tells the story of a murder at the American Booksellers Association convention. The story features Asimov himself.
Isaac Asimov (January 2, 1920 – April 6, 1992) was an American author and professor of biochemistry at Boston University, best known for his works of science fiction. Asimov was a prolific writer, having written and edited more than five hundred books in his lifetime.
Condition
In the publisher's original red cloth binding with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with only slight shelf wear. Dust wrapper is very smart with slight creasing to extremities. The occasional minor closed tear and chip. Tide mark to the reverse of the wrap. Slight fading and handling marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. The odd spot to the fore edge.
