Thomas Ingoldsby is a pseudonym for English clergyman Richard Harris Barham (6 December 1788 – 17 June 1845), who was known for his often humorous poems and novels.
Condition
In full burgundy straight-grained morocco with gilt titling to the front board and spine. Externally, extremely smart with slight rubbing and loss to the head and tail of spine. Fading to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Spotting and slight age toning only to front and rear free endpapers and paste downs. Extensive contemporary ink inscription to front free endpaper. Pages bright and clean.
