Condition
Bound in a half morocco with marbled paper boards. Externally, smart. Slight rubbing to boards and extremities resulting in slight loss to paper and morocco. Very slight splaying to boards. Hinges cracked, but firm. Previous owner's bookplate to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean if typically age toned. Light scattered spotting to first and last few leaves and fore edges, more so to plates. Slight offsetting from frontispiece to title page. Tape reinforcements to extremities of maps, with one or two closed tears to extremities of the fold-out map facing the first page.
