First published in 1901, this is a 1985 facsimile of J. Horsfall Turner's work.
With a loosely inserted signed letter from the author, dated 1903, addressed simply to 'Dear Sir', it reads 'I am indeed grateful for the titles of my books, and to D. Rowe for his suggestion. Besides the titles & sizes given, I with to learn the number of pages; pamphlets, or books, and shall be glad if you will fill the list as under [...] Dr Rowe is coming here again shortly, will you favour me by accompanying him? [...] Horsfall Turner'.
