'A Narrative of Travels on the Amazon and Rio Negro, with an Account of the Native Tribes, and Observations on the Climate, Geology, and Natural History of the Amazon Valley' by Alfred Russel Wallace (1889) - With sixteen plates and four pages of advertisements. 

'On the Structure and Distribution of Coral Reefs; also Geological Observations on the Volcanic Islands and Parts of South American Visited during the Voyage of H.M.S. Beagle' by Charles Darwin (1890) - With six plates, three of which are folding, as well as numerous in-text figures. Six pages of advertisements. 

'Himalayan Journals; or, Notes of a Naturalist in Bengal, the Sikkim and Nepal Himalayas, the Khasia Mountains, &c.' by Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker (1891) - With fourteen plates, numerous illustrations in text and a folding map to the rear. Two pages of advertisements. 

Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with rubbing to the extremities. Rear hinge to 'Himalayan' is weak. Hinges to 'Amazon' are tender. Internally, front free endpaper to 'Himalayan' is detached but present, and chipped to the edges, otherwise set is firmly bound. Pages are marginally age toned, but generally clean. With scattered spotting to the first and last pages of 'Coral Reefs' and a couple ink stains to 'Amazon'. Offsetting to the endpapers of 'Himalayan'.
