A first edition, first impression with full number line. In the publisher's original cloth binding with unclipped dust wrapper. Cover illustration by James Marsh. It is a children's novel serving as an allegory for greater issues present in society, including censorship. Rushdie is a Booker Prize winning author best known for his works, 'Midnight's Children' and 'The Satanic Verses'.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally excellent. The unclipped dust wrapper is in near fine condition. There is a small crease to the front panel and just the odd mark to the front and back panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
