W. H. Auden remains a highly acclaimed Anglophone poet; active during the twentieth century, he is responsible for the composition of several popular poems including 'Funeral Works', also referred to as 'Stop All the Clocks', 'September 1, 1939', 'The Age of Anxiety', and 'Horae Canonicae'. Epistle to a Godson & Other Poems is the last collection of poetry that Auden completed in his lifetime and includes highlights such as 'Natural Linguistics', 'Doggerel by a Senior Citizen', and 'Talking to Myself'.
Condition
In the original publisher's binding with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very excellent with just a touch of bumping to the tail of the spine. Wrapper is somewhat age toned with fractional shelf wear to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound with lovely bright, clean pages.
