Discussing duck decoys, with instructional information on their construction and management, their history, and accounts of extant decoys.

Illustrated with fourteen colour lithographs, two of which are folding, and numerous further vignette illustrations. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very good, with light rubbing and the odd mark. Damp staining to the right of the front board, and the left of the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with the occasional handling mark and the odd light spotting, mainly to the plates. Small closed tear to the folding plate facing page 56.
