'Don Quixote' is a classic Spanish novel that follows the nobleman Alonso Quixano, who has read so many chivalric romances that he loses his sanity and decides to become a knight-errant. He decides to revive chivalry and serve the country under the name 'Don Quixote de la Mancha'.
Originally published in Spanish in the early seventeenth century, this novel is one of the most translated literary works of all time, and is often regarded as the first modern novel.
Condition
Bound in full calf. Externally, very smart, with slight discolouration to leather, moreso to volume II. A few marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
