Leather Binding

A very bright and pleasing set of nine pocket books containing several of Charles Dickens' works. 

Including Dickens' most popular and well-known novels such as 'Great Expectations', his penultimate completed novel depicting the education of an orphan named Pip.

Uniformly bound in full navy morocco, with gilt to the spines. 

A lovely example of these works and an overall very pleasing set to hold.

Undated, circa dated from ink inscriptions to the front free endpapers.

Condition

Uniformly bound in full morocco, with a simple illustrative gilt stamp to the spines. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear. 'Our Mutual Friend' has portion of minor fading to the leather. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Previous owner's contemporary ink inscriptions to the front free endpapers.
