Very scarce work. A collection of one hundred and seventy widely varied recipes contributed by parents and students at Combe Pafford School in Torquay. The publication of this book of recipes had two aims: to raise money for a school swimming pool, and to give pleasure to those interested in the art of cooking. This volume includes recipes such as: shortbread fingers, Irish brack, Italian lemon pie, potato dumplings, and beef goulash, amongst many others.
Condition
In the original paper wraps. Externally, smart with minor wear to the extremities and light spotting to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and the odd handling mark.
