This volume is the revised edition. produced under the direction of P. H. Thorpe. 

This edition contains 130 sectional colour maps of Greater London, along with a map of the London Postal Area. It also includes 8 enlarged sectional maps covering the City and West End, plus a map of the Underground Railways. Additional thematic maps are featured on the endpapers: theatres and cinemas on the front pastedown, and clubs, museums, art galleries, and more on the rear pastedown. Collated, complete.

The volume is completed with a comprehensive street index with postal districts.

Geographia Ltd., founded in London in 1908 by Alexander Gross, was a notable cartographic publishing firm, especially during and after WWI. In 1987, its British operations were acquired by HarperCollins, and map production has since continued under the Collins Bartholomew imprint.
