An informative promotional guide, produced by the National Poultry Show Committee containing a variety of recipes utilising chicken, written by a number of notable chefs, including Elizabeth Craig, Hilda Whitlow and Helen Burke.
250 Recipes for Use with Borwick's Baking Powder, is also the first edition, without the later edition printing present on the front wrap of later editions. Both presented in the original decorative wraps. Dated c1930. With two double sided leaves of colour plates highlighting included recipes. An informative promotional guide to the use of Borwick's Baking Powder.

Condition
In the original paper wraps. Externally generally smart with wear to the extremities. Staples have failed to '250 Recipes' with text block detached from wrap. Tape reinforcement to front hinge of 'Chicken' Loss to extremities of the wraps. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with just the odd handling mark. Bookplate to front paste downs.
