A collection of seven works, each containing a fold-out illustration of a different mechanism, with a description in German to accompany.
This interesting work presents seven descriptions alongside their fold-out illustration, taken from a larger work and rebound separately in cloth hardback.
The collection is comprised of:
Doppelschrauben Dampfschiff, with a fold out of the ship.
Der Steinmuller-Kessel, with a fold out of the engine.
Germania-Tauchboot, with a fold out of the submarine.
Etrich-Rumpler-Flugzeug, with a fold out of the aircraft.
Heissdampf-Lokomotive, with a fold out of the train.
Zweifachexapnsions-Dampfmaschine von Borsig, with a fold out of the engine.
Dreschmaschine von H. Lanz, Manheim, with a fold out of the equipment used in farming.
Dated through the invention of the Etrich Taube in 1910.
With the bookplate of Megan and Michael Dawson to the front paste down, and the bookplate of Lowenhardt, or Lionheart, the Coeur de Lion to one volume.
Condition
Bound in full cloth. Externally, very smart, with light marking to cloth. Bookplate to front paste down with additional label remnants. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front paste down of 'Doppelschrauben Dampfschiff'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
