The Bookano Stories began publication towards the end of the 1920s, and were the first 'automatic' books.
With the stamp of Michael and Megan Dawson, a husband and wife who established a successful business dealing in and restoring pop-up books, to the verso of the front endpaper.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, resulting in a small amount of loss of paper and lifting. Spine is a little age-toned. Only a few small marks to the boards and spine. A small patch of surface loss to the front board. Front hinge is starting but remains firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots and handling marks.
