    Description

    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

    First edition of Contes de Grimm, Le Brave Petit Tailleur La Table, L'ane et Le Gourdin in the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. 

    The title translates to Grimm's Tales, the brave little tailor the table, the donkey and the club.

    With illustrations by Jean Morette throughout the text in colour. 

    The Brother's Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm were a duo who together collected and published folklore. 

    Undated. Dated c1946 from WorldCat and Jisc. 


    Condition

    In original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly worn. The hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
