Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, five striking colourful pop-ups, and in-text illustrations throughout.

Collated, complete.

A charming mid-twentieth-century collection of tales for children, including 'The Land of Santa Claus', 'Quaint Fisherman', 'The Last of the Gladiators', and more. 

Edited by S. Louis Giraud. 

The Bookano Stories began publication towards the end of the 1920s, and were the first 'automatic' books. 

Undated, dated from Jisc, from a copy held at the University of Oxford Libraries.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart. Spine is faded. Light rubbing and bumping to the spine and extremities. Only a few small marks to the boards. Small stamp to the front paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and clean. The pop-ups are all complete and in full working order/
