The Bookano Stories began publication towards the end of the 1920s, and were the first 'automatic' books.
With the stamp of Michael and Megan Dawson, a husband and wife who established a successful business dealing in and restoring pop-up books, to the head of the front pastedown.
Bookplate of Marjorie Moon to the title page. Moon was a prolific collector of early English children's books.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, smart. Light bumping and rubbing the spine and extremities. Spine is a little sunned. Only a few light marks to the boards. Stamp to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and clean. Bookplate to the title page.
