The 22nd Cheshire regiment mustered 38 battalions during the course of the Great War. Between them, they served in every theatre of war: Western Front, Gallipoli, Italy, Macedonia, Palestine and Mesopotamia. Five battle honours were awarded along with two Victoria Crosses. 

This work divides its history by each theatre of war, in which the narrative unfolds chronologically. It is a history full of action with many personal contributions, aided by maps and sketches to support and often summarize casualties.

In full navy cloth. Externally, excellent. Slight bumping to tail of spine. Small mark to front board. Previous owner's sticker to front free end paper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
