Montague Grahame-White (1877-1961) was a racing car driver, as well as a broker of cars, yachts and aeroplanes. He compiled this collection of reminiscences spanning four decades, featuring a number of forgotten and important figures in the worlds of locomotion and aviation. His brother was Claude Grahame-White, renowned pioneer of flight who made the first night flight. In the publisher's original binding.

Profusely illustrated with full plate illustrations and photographs, as well as a full frontispiece of the author. With lovely endpapers decorated with the blue crests of the Royal Automobile Club and the Royal Albert Yacht Club.
Condition
In a full cloth binding. Externally very smart, some rubbing to the extremities and joints and minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Contains an ownership bookplate of an R. Stone to the front pastedown and an inscription to the front endpaper of the same name. Internally firmly bound, pages bright and clean.
