    Description

    Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    A very scarce work.

    Issued by the motor racing circuit Brooklands, this volume presents speed and distance tables. Detailing the mile and kilometer distances in laps, mileage express in laps, and more. 

    With one map, depicting the circuit. 

    Brooklands was the world's first purpose-built 'banked' motor racing circuit, opened in 1907. The circuit closed in 1939, and is now part of a museum.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth wraps. Externally, wraps are discoloured and marked. Wraps are edge worn, with a tear to the tail of the spine. Dampstain to the rear wrap and paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with light spots and handling marks.
