In the publisher's original red cloth binding.
Retold by Blanche Winder, including 'The Hare and the Tortoise', 'The Milkmaid and her Pail' and 'The Lion and the Mouse', among others.
Illustrated with eighteen colour plates by prolific England-based artist Harry Rountree. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with only mild rubbing and bumping to the extremities and a couple minor marks to the spine and rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with scattered spots to the first few leaves.
