    The Wonder-Book-Of Railways [1940]. Sixteenth edition. This copy story and technology of railways, railway systems, and the romance of train travel during the height of steam power. Collated, complete.

    The Wonder Book of The Wild: The Romance of Exploration and Big Game Stalking (c1929). Second edition. Illustrated with 12 colour plates and 200 illustrations depicting explorers, wildlife, hunting expeditions, and the drama of big-game stalking in Africa, Asia, and beyond. Collated, complete.

    The Wonder Book of the Farm [1953] Illustrated with eight colour plates and nearly 300 photographs showcasing farm life, animals, crops, and modern agricultural methods post–World War II. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper boards. Externally, smart. Slight rubbing to boards. The odd spot to spines. One or two minor handling marks. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Previous owner’s inscription to half title of “Wild”. Previous owner’s inscription to front free endpaper of “Farm.” Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot and one or two handling marks to first and last few leaves.
