Illustrated with a tipped in full colour plate to the front and 15 pages of monochrome plates. Collate complete.
Undated. Dated by the excerpt to the rear that explains that the work uses a new font called 'Pastonchi', with this being the first catalogue to use the font. The font was first created by Signor Francisco Pastonchi, an Italian poet, in 1927.
This charming work features a description of the gallery in which these lamps were found, written by M. Landseer Mackenzie, with an explanation of the psychology of colour by Isobel Savory. This catalogue showcases a selection of lamps, shades and mirrors for sale at 'Bourlet's' in London, with prices next to each piece.
Condition
In the publisher's original paperback. Externally excellent with only the odd crease and minor mark. Internally firmly bound with clean and generally bright pages.
