Scarce edition of The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan in the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper.
Undated, dated through the ink inscription to the first free endpaper and the publisher's advertisements on the rear board of the dust wrapper.
Illustrated with seven colour plates by Ramsay Russell. Collated.
With pictorial dust wrapper and front board.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. There is some wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper, including a few tears and age toning. To the binding, there is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and light bumping to the extremities. There is some spotting to the fore edge. Prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper dated 1925. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some occasional spotting and age toning.
