Description
Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
A very scarce work.
Illustrated with five vibrant colour plates, with a total of sixty push out pieces which are all present and have not been removed from their boards.
Collated, complete.
An envelope adhered to the front pastedown is empty, but is intended to be used for placing the pushed out puzzle pieces.
Undated; dated circa 1924 via creator K. E. Garman's copyright. The patent had previously been renewed on 1912, 1914 and 1918.
With the stamp of Michael and Megan Dawson, a husband and wife who established a successful business dealing in and restoring pop-up books, to the head of the front pastedown.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth backed pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, very smart, with light handling marks to board perimeters. Internally, firmly bound. Stamp to front pastedown. Plates bright, with light handling marks. Pop-out pieces all present and remain in their original plates.
