    Complete in two volumes. Volume one is illustrated with a colour frontispiece, twenty-two colour images across sixteen plates, and many in-text images. Volume two is illustrated with a colour frontispiece, sixteen colour images across eleven plates, and many in-text images. Collated complete. This work presents the birds of our country in alphabetical order, including their eggs, nests, life, haunts and identification. With the most up-to-date knowledge available at the time of publishing. Written by ornithologist Frank Finn and British journalist, Edward Kay Robinson, who founded the British Empire Naturalists' Association.

    Condition

    In the original half crushed morocco with red cloth boards. Externally, smart with minor rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small handling mark. Light age toning to the endpapers.
