Written by Henry Spencer Toy, a teacher and eventual Headmaster of Launceston College.
After the First World War, Toy resumed his teaching career at Queens College, Taunton (where this work was published), eventually becoming Senior Master.
He also wrote another educational science book called 'Aspects of Science' and history works such as 'Ancient Borough of Helston' (1912).
Condition
In the original wraps. Externally, paper is slightly age toned and with a few small spots, otherwise very smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot to the endpapers.
