Adorned with thirty-four beautiful tipped-in colour plates by Edmund Dulac, a French-British naturalised magazine illustrator, book illustrator and stamp designer.
Comprising stories such as 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves', 'The Fisherman and the Genie', 'Sindbad the Sailor', and 'Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with fading to the spine and bumping to the extremities. Handling marks to the cloth. Gutter to the front free endpaper is cracked, but front hinge remains firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and occasional scattered spots. Contemporary ink inscription to the front free endpaper.
