What Our Customers Say...
Description
Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
In the original unclipped dust wrapper.
'Burbank the Northerner' was originally published in French as 'Nord Contre Sud' in 1887, and has been translated into English as 'Burbank the Northerner', 'Texar's Revenge', and 'North Against South'.
This novel is a departure from Jules Verne's ordinary genre of sci-fi, the plot revolving around an antislavery northerner living in Florida, and his conflict with a pro-slavery southerner. A lesser known work by the noted French author.
