An early twentieth century edition of one of Jules Verne's most loved works, following the eccentric Englishman Phileas Fogg as he attempts to circumnavigate the globe in eighty days, in order to win a bet set by his friends at the Reform Club. Written by Jules Gabriel Verne, a French novelist, poet, and playwright. His work has been adapted for film and television since the beginning of cinema, as well as for comic books, theater, opera, music and video games. Three leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Minor loss to the cloth at the board tips. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Minor age toning to the endpapers.
