'John Halifax, Gentleman' by Dinah Craik, a novel set during Britain's Industrial Revolution.
All undated, dated by copies held by the British Library.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with slight loss to the head of the spine to 'Tom's Cabin', and small closed tears to the other volumes. Light cockling to the front board to 'Plays'. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned and clean pages.
