A scarce work of fiction, of which there is only one institutional copy. Dated from Copac. A charming children's tale by Kathleen A. Lund, narrated from the point of view of a dog: Jack. No. 2 in Dean's 'Tinklebell Series.' 

Rarely seen on the market. In the original publisher's pictorial boards, adorned with illustrations in text and lovely colour plates.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over pictorial boards. Externally sound with some shelf wear and rubbing to the front board, light soiling to the boards. Previous owner's gift inscription to the front free endpaper, dated 1917. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are clean with a touch of age toning, as usual with the type of paper used. Illustrated in text in black and white and with full page colour plates.
