Mabel Lucie Attwell was one of the most beloved British illustrators of the Edwardian and interwar periods. She is famous for her cherubic children, fairies, and humorous domestic scenes.

In the publisher's original illustrated boards, shaped in the form of a child, and with moving arms to the front board in working order. Bumping to board perimeters, with boards age toned. Fold to head of front board. Inscription to head of verso of front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned, with instances of light handling marks.
