Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

Illustrated edition of Songs of Innocence by William Black in the original publisher's cloth binding. 

With a preface by Thomas Seccombe and Twelve Coloured Illustrations by Honor C. Appleton. 

Undated, circa 1912, dated from Jisc. The second issue of the 1911 reprint edition, dated from adverts at the rear, of which there are sixteen pages. Additionally, the address of the publisher is listed as '95 New Bond Street'. 

Includes a lovely colour illustration to the front board. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the exception of some occasional spotting, particularly to the endpapers.
