    A new, revised edition of this game guide by Edmond Hoyle, dated from a copy held at the British Library catalogued on Copac. An uncommon copy.

    A rule book of numerous popular card and board games including whist, chess, draughts, and poker among others. With some illustrations in text.

    With additional sections by Professor Hoffman, pseudonym for Angelo John Lewis.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's printed boards binding. With shelf wear, chipped and rubbed to extremities of boards, considerable loss to back strip exposing binding material. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
